Earl on the phone
You don't need the app open to use Earl. A phone call does it. Your customers still get a real person when they call you.
A customer calls you, you hang up, and Earl calls to write it up: who it was, the address, the work, the days. He also calls when something needs an answer, like a quote coming back or a job with nobody on it. Your customers never reach Earl; they always get a person.
You can call Earl from the truck and ask who's on tomorrow, or tell him to put Danny on the Nguyen job. He does it and writes it down, and you never had to open the app.
There's a Talk button in the app. Press it and speak, and Earl answers out loud in his own voice. Everything you said still goes into the record.
You can have Earl call the crew at the end of the day and ask how the job went. Whatever they tell him goes onto that job's log right away.

Earl only calls when something needs your answer, and he says what he's about to do before he does it. If you correct him, what you said is what gets filed.
The number
A phone line for Earl is an add-on (pricing to be announced) that includes 200 minutes a month. It takes your calls and makes the calls you schedule. Customers never reach it; they reach you.
